Dear Colleagues,
It is a great pleasure for me to invite you to the 52nd Annual Meeting of the
International Spinal Cord Society which will take place 27-30 October, 2013 in
the amazing city of İstanbul, Turkey.
You are invited and encouraged to contribute to the scientific program and your
support and active involvement is welcome. Besides presentations on research
findings, overviews of current state of the art, lectures of excellence, and
teaching courses there will also be a focus on primary prevention, organization
of rehabilitation services. Global issues will be addressed including burden of
spinal cord injury, state of management in low to middle income countries and
priority settings when resources are low.
I am looking forward to welcome you at the 52nd Annual Meeting of the ISCoS in
İstanbul, the historical city, rich in culture and diversity, undeniably one of
the most beautiful cities in the world. I recommend you to take the time to
explore its sights, historical monuments and wonders. Together with the exciting
